R.V. Christian Track Complex
First class surface for a world class program
K-State has established itself as an elite program at the national level thanks to the successes of its athletes at the Big 12 Conference and NCAA Championships, including a Big 12 womens' team title in 2018 and another NCAA title in the men's high jump, and will soon have a track and field surface to match.
In all, K-State boasts 37 NCAA Champions, has helped develop 27 Olympians and has produced 345 All-Americans in a proud history at the R.V. Christian Track Complex. K-State Athletics committed to help the program reach new heights with a completely new outdoor track surface and infield, as well as new lighting.
Kansas State was host of the 2012 Big 12 Outdoor Championships and will host one of the nation's best conferences on one of the nation's best surfaces in the near future. Demolition of the old track began in June, following the completion of the team's prep for 2018 USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships.
The project has been funded without incurring any long-term debt and without any state tax or university funds. Any outstanding construction costs above the fundraising goal will be funded through department revenues and resources.
